The Vitamin Shoppe is rolling out upgrades to its POS and promotions offerings with a view to creating a more seamless customer experience across all channels and chains.

The retailer has tapped Jumpmind to drive the upgrade and will deploy Jumpmind Commerce, a cloud-based, mobile POS solution, and Jumpmind Promote, to optimize digital and in-store promotions. The move is intended to shift Vitamin Shoppe from legacy processes and solutions to a modern, API-first ecosystem.

“The Vitamin Shoppe is committed to a customer experience that delivers the highest levels of quality, innovation, and expertise across our products and services. Jumpmind gives us the flexibility to deploy its highly intuitive user interface on both our existing traditional fixed till and mobile POS,” shared Andy Laudato, The Vitamin Shoppe’s COO.

Scott Devlin, Vitamin Shoppe’s CIO, added that the partnership “will enable the creation and execution of innovative promotion types, along with unified promotional execution across all of our direct-to-consumer channels, enhancing customer engagement.”

The Vitamin Shoppe’s parent company, Franchise Group, went private in May 2023. The retailer has been making strides on its digital transformation journey this year. In April, the Vitamin Shoppe implemented a network-as-a-service (NaaS) solution, across its 700-plus U.S. retail outlets to support omnichannel growth. The deployment was designed to allow The Vitamin Shoppe to focus on its lifestyle offerings while ensuring a flexible and future-ready digital network, the company said.
