Staples Business Depot Installs New RFID System

Staples Business Depot installs an RFID-based inventory management platform from AbsoluteSKY and Fujitsu. The Canadian branch of Staples is using intelliTRACKER software from AbsoluteSKY to tag and track items from the moment they enter the store, to the store shelves, through to the completion of the sales transaction. Staples Business Depot also is using the software for on-hand status and search, automated receiving, inventory status changes, zone differentiation and shrink reduction capabilities. The platform, currently installed in only one Canadian store, is the product of an alliance between AbsoluteSKY and Fujitsu.
